Mirae Asset PAY is an app that enables you to conveniently pay when purchasing at affiliated stores. It uses NFC technology, eliminating the need to show or scan a QR code. Hence, it is more secure because using QR codes have some security risks such as image capture.
In order to use the NFC function, you need to place your smartphone close to the NFC tag plate provided at the affiliated store. The smart wallet (wallet) will then be automatically activated, and you can pay for the product using your smartphone.
The app can be used at various franchise stores, including major convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants in Korea.
